Brass Chicago interscrew post-and-screw, 10mm (bulk pack of 100)
Brass Chicago interscrews (often referred to as post-and-screw sets or ledger screws) are used in making post-bound photo albums and books of your own. Made of high quality brass, these interscrews have knurled heads which can be easily tightened and loosened by hand for convenience and to avoid burring which happens with slotted heads.
This item is a bulk pack of 100 complete interscrews as shown, with a 10mm post length.
PLEASE NOTE: 5mm, 10mm, 15mm and 20mm interscrews are SOLID BRASS with ONE-PIECE BODIES. Lengths longer than 20mm are made up using short brass bodies and steel extensions.
Our interscrews are available in 5mm increments in sizes from 10mm up to 60mm, and each set includes both the post (body) and the screw (head). Post diameter is 5mm. Extension posts are also available in 10mm and 20mm lengths, and these can be used to fit between the post and screw in order to increase the length if required, or added in at a later date.
Variables such as length, diameter, thread length and thread pitch mean that it is highly unlikely that our interscrews or extensions will fit into existing sets from different manufacturers. Instead of trying to match existing sets, we recommend that you consider replacing your existing set with our interscrews; that way you will be able to add extensions or obtain replacements later if required.
