Each 25-pack of Albox archival suspension slide filing pages will hold 600 mounted slides. Each page includes a slot at the top for inserting a suspension filing rod, to allow the pages to hang in a filing cabinet. These pages are ideal for slide collections, from small home collections to large professional archives and library collections. These are Albox top archival quality slide filing sleeves for 35mm transparencies mounted in individual frames. The advantage of storing slides and trannies in Albox clear sleeves is that proof sheets can be made without removing or handling the images. TRUE ARCHIVAL QUALITY: Albox binders and pages have been approved by the National Archives of Australia, and are made from archival polypropylene which has passed independent testing for suitability for photographic storage (specifically, the PAT (Photographic Activity Test) of the Image Permanence Institute in Rochester, New York, USA). DIMENSIONS: Albox archival suspension slide filing pages measure 335mm wide x 252mm high, and are made from a medium-weight 90 micron polypropylene. Each top-loading pocket measures 51mm wide x 53mm high. There are 6 columns x 4 rows of top-loading pockets on each sleeve, with 24 pockets per sleeve, so 600 slides can be stored in a packet of 25 sleeves. Each page includes a slot at the top for inserting a suspension filing rod, to allow the pages to hang in a filing cabinet. Albox suspension filing rods are made from light-weight archival polyester. This material is not as durable as common steel rods so care must be taken when handling the pages, but it is archival, lightweight, economical and will not rust or tarnish.
